Privacy notice
Last updated: October 2026. This notice covers the UIBrief website, waitlist, purchases and the UIBrief browser extension.
The extension
- Runs only where you click it. UIBrief reads the page only on the tab where you activate it (icon or shortcut), to show and copy styles. What it reads (styles, markup, screenshots of the element you pick) stays in your browser and goes only to your clipboard. We never receive it.
- No account, no analytics, no tracking. The extension stores only its settings on your device: install date (for the 7-day trial), your license key and a usage counter used to ask for a review once.
- License check. If you activate a license, once a week the extension sends the license key to our license server (a Cloudflare Worker) to check whether it is still valid (for example, after a refund). The key contains your email address and order number. Nothing else is sent.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address, the language of the page, the site that referred you (if any), and the date and wording of the consent you gave.
- Anonymous counts: page visits (Cloudflare Web Analytics) and clicks on the buy and install buttons (at most one per browser session), per day. No cookies, no IP address, no device fingerprinting.
- Purchases in Brazilian reais: processed by Asaas, which sends us your name, email and CPF or CNPJ (never card data). We keep the email, order number, the last 4 digits and a hash of the document so you can claim your key, and we issue the service invoice through Asaas.
- Purchases in US dollars: handled entirely by our merchant of record (payment provider). We receive your email and order details from them, never your card data. We store your email, order number and license key to deliver the license, show it on the thank-you page and resend it if you lose it.
Why
To deliver and support your license, to email you about UIBrief news if you joined the list, and to understand which pages and buttons are used. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Where it is stored and for how long
Waitlist and license data are stored by Cloudflare, Inc., including on servers in the United States. We keep waitlist data until 12 months after launch, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. License records are kept while the license is valid and for as long as tax and consumer law require.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your data. Infrastructure providers (Cloudflare, our email tool and our payment provider) process it only on our behalf.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or to stop receiving emails, at any time: contact@your-domain.com. Every email has an unsubscribe link. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
