Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026. These terms cover the UIBrief browser extension, the UIBrief Pro license and this website. By installing UIBrief or buying Pro you agree to them.

Who we are

UIBrief is made and sold by [FULL NAME OR COMPANY] ("we"). Contact: contact@your-domain.com.

The product

• Free: hover any element on a website and copy clean CSS and Tailwind v4 classes. No account, no time limit.
• Pro trial: every new install gets all Pro features for 7 days, with no card.
• UIBrief Pro: a one-time payment of US$5 for a lifetime license that unlocks copying whole components as HTML/JSX, design tokens and Copy for AI (a brief with a screenshot of the element for your AI coding agent).
• UIBrief runs in Chrome and Edge (version 137 or newer). Browsers block extensions on some pages (for example chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store and PDF files).

Payment

Purchases are processed by Creem, our merchant of record (authorized reseller). They run the checkout, charge your card, handle sales tax or VAT and issue your receipt, and their name appears on your statement. Their terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are in US dollars; taxes may be added at checkout depending on your country.

Your license

• Right after payment, your license key appears on the thank-you page. Keep it somewhere safe: it is your license.
• The license is personal. Use it on all of your own browsers and computers, for personal or commercial work. The code and tokens you copy with UIBrief are yours to use.
• Do not share, publish or resell your key. Keys that are publicly shared may be deactivated.
• "Lifetime" means every Pro feature, including future ones, for as long as UIBrief is sold. If UIBrief is ever discontinued, the version you have installed keeps working offline.

Refunds

Changed your mind? Full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email contact@your-domain.com from the address you bought with, or reply to your receipt. After a refund the license is deactivated and the extension returns to the free version within 7 days. This does not limit any refund or withdrawal rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

Acceptable use

Use UIBrief on websites you are allowed to access. You are responsible for respecting the copyright, trademarks and licenses of the designs and content you copy. Do not use UIBrief to break the law or to try to break or bypass the license check.

Privacy

UIBrief works in your browser and collects no browsing data. Details in the privacy notice.

Warranty and liability

We work hard to keep UIBrief accurate and working, but it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to UIBrief is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features. The current version is always on this page, with its date. Changes never take away a license you already bought.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protections of the law of the country where you live and may use its courts.
